Bagnoli Wine Tasting

Villa Widmann BorlettiWhen you will be staying in Tenuta Castel Venezze for your cookery course you will have the chance to be part in our wine tasting tour program, which allows you to know the Bagnoli DOC area.

During this excursion you will have the chance to see the old aristocratic Villa Widmann Borletti and his cellars Il Dominio di Bagnoli that date back to 14th century. This winery produces the Friularo grape that is a native grape and has been used to produce a very special passito red wine that after a late harvest is dried till Jenuary in a special room upstairs the cellar.

Along the way, our knowledgeable guide will share compelling wine info, and introduce you to winemakers.

Scheduled time

  • 3.00 p.m. Departure from Tenuta Castel Venezze.
  • 3.45 p.m. Arrival at the winery Il Dominio di Bagnoli, visit the cellar with our guide.
  • 4.30 p.m. Wine tasting in the cellar.
  • 5.30 p.m. We go back to Tenuta Castel Venezze where the tour will be end by 6.00 pm
