Colli Euganei Wine Tour

When you will be staying in Tenuta Castel Venezze for your cookery course, you can choose this wine tasting tour as extra program, so that you will have the chance to know the Euganean Hills, one of the most famouse italian wine areas. Nature infact has created a favorable habitat for vines on these hills, with soil that is volcanic in origin. Vineyards, documented as early as Roman times.

The grapes are primarily Tocai, Merlot and Cabernet, but there are also more specific varieties. Outstanding is the presence of Moscato, both Giallo (yellow) and Bianco (white), denominated in the Fior d'Arancio zone.

Fior d'Arancio is a sparkling wine with light yellow color, with golden glares, with a persistent scent, intense and typical of the grape, which remembers citric scents; its taste is sweet and balanced. It can be found in the version of "Sparkling wine" or "Raisin wine".

During your excursion, you'll travel through the scenic back roads to the wine country. You'll visit a selected winery, chosen with you in mind. Along the way, our knowledgeable guide will share compelling wine info, and introduce you to winemakers.
