4-Night Cooking Class Program
Our cooking vacations at the Tenuta Castel Venezze will allow you to immerse yourself in the culture and lifestyle of Veneto and learn to cook authentic Italian dishes in an informal and friendly environment. Classes are limited to 4/8 participants. The classes are small enough to accommodate cooks of all levels and are ideal for small groups of family and friends.
It is also possible to bring along a non-participating partner who can spend the day enjoying the surroundings, sightseeing, or playing golf and could then join the group at dinnertime.
Our programs are very flexible in the choice
The basic program includes the following:
Four-night stay at Villa Tenuta Castel Venezze, full-board accommodations in a double room with a private bathroom.
Two cooking lessons in the morning from 10:30 am to approx. 2.30 pm. (lunch included) and all meals, including wines.
Third-day wine-tasting tour to the near Venetian Hils region

This program is open to up to 10 attendees; ask the staff for larger groups.
Around 6 pm, pick-up at Rovigo train station. Dinner at 7:30 pm. at our restaurant Locanda Venezze and your first introduction to local places to familiarize yourself with your new surroundings.
Breakfast and Welcome to the participants.
At 10.30 am first hands-on cooking class with our chef Simone. Today we'll start making dishes using techniques and recipes handed down through generations of local women: traditional Italian pasta, tagliatelle, tortellini, vegetables, and cakes. Lunch follows, including d.o.c. Italian wine. In the afternoon you can relax at the villa, or visit the beauties of the nearer Sightseeing. We also offer the possibility to participate in one of our food and wine experience. Dinner at our restaurant Locanda Vnezze.
Breakfast, 2nd Cooking Lesson with lunch. Hands-on cooking lesson during which you will learn how to make and cook other traditional Italian recipes, from appetizers to desserts. Lunch at the villa, with wine. In the afternoon, you will have free time, or you may join a half-day tour with our guide to explore the surrounding wineries. These wine tours usually return by 6.00 pm for dinner at our restaurant Locanda Vnezze.
Italian cooking tips and secrets about regional dishes are revealed while preparing a three-course meal using only what's in season. You will get free time during the rest of the day, and our staff will be available to set up another activity; we have many contacts with the local operators and will grant valuable services. For instance, our staff can plan an excursion to the beautiful town of Chioggia or the natural park of Po Delta for a bike ride. Please ask for a quote.

HOW TO GET HERE
To get to Rovigo, the best transport is by train. It starts every hour from Venice and stops at Rovigo Railway Station; the ride is about 1 hr, and a round trip costs approximately € 15 per person.
Our staff might arrange your pick-up at Rovigo's train station; the taxi ride is €25/30.

- HOW TO REACH US
Our Tenuta is in the Venice's countryside and in case you do not have a transport we can provide a taxi for you at Piazzale Roma in Venice. The cost of this service is 90 euros one way or 200 euros for a round trip. Otherwise, you may get a train from Venice Santa Lucia’s train station to Rovigo (the nearest city to us). The price of a single ticket is 7 euros per person and there is a train every hour. At your arrival to Rovigo I will come to pick you up till our Tenuta.
